Extension Of Assessor And Moderator Registration Status

As per QCTO circulars, 2/2022 “All qualification registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF) must be aligned to the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) NQF Level Descriptors by the 30 June 2023, to ensure coherence in learning, and compliance to the last date of achievement as stated in historical Qualification/Unit Standards.

• The last learner enrolment date for historical qualifications is 30 June 2024.
• The last learner achievement end date for historical qualifications is 30 June 2027.

All Assessors and Moderators whose registration status expires 30 June 2023 will be required to apply for re-registration to ensure the following;

• Compliance to the code of conduct by assessors and moderators.
• Promotion of adherence to principles of assessment.
• Implementation of Validity, Authenticity, Current and Sufficiency (VACS).

All application for extension of registration must be submitted by 15 March 2023. All applications submitted later than the 15 March 2023 will not be accepted. All application received will be considered on a first come first serve basis.
