Empowering Women: Celebrating Strength, Courage, and Wisdom

Sharon Kwenaite: Registry Administrator

During Women’s Month, we honor those who protested the proposed amendments to the Urban Areas Act of 1950 by marching to the Union Building on August 9, 1956. These women paved the way for us and contributed to who we are today. We celebrate women’s achievements and recognize their voices in Parliament and Organisations.

Women must never fear failure as they aim for growth. We must at all times thrive to achieve our goals. Let us empower each other as we tackle this challenge. Always remember that you are strong, valued, acknowledged, and loved.

As we celebrate Women’s Month, it’s important to recognise the incredible strength and resilience of women everywhere. Women have overcome countless obstacles throughout history and continue to play a vital role in shaping our world today. Let us honour and celebrate the accomplishments of women and continue to work towards a more just and equitable society for all.

We have the power to become anything we desire. A woman who prays draws strength, courage, and wisdom from the Lord.
